I then taught Art Education for several years. Through the years my passion has turned into a business and I haven't put down the camera since. I'm all about creating images that showcase the heart of my clients life stories.
Hey! I'm Kelly, a Montana girl that calls the small town of Choteau home. Choteau is nestled along the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front. I specialize in lifestyle family sessions, seniors and weddings. I found my passion for photography while obtaining a Bachelors of Fine Art degree at MSU Bozeman.
I know..cute right?! We will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary this coming summer! We started dating when I was a junior and he was a senior in high school. Its been almost 15 years! Since then we both graduated from MSU, got married, have had careers, and two sweet kiddos!
I have a daughter and son that keep our lives busy and full of joy. I chose to quit teaching for the time being to be home to raise my children and pursue photography. These two definitely influence my drive to capture the fleeting moments in our lives.
I was blessed to be born and raised in this small Montana town! After finishing college in Bozeman, Montana my husband and I decided to move back home to raise our own family there. It truly is a beautiful place to live, raise a family and take photos of!
I have always been creative and excelled in fine arts. In college I switched my major to Art Education. I then taught K-12 art for several years following college. I hope to pursue fine art more in the future. I love watercolor, acrylics, and ceramics. I also had a hand lettering and design component to my business for awhile but decided to focus primarily on photography.
I love interior design. I feel like that could of been another life calling. My husband and I have been slowing fixing up our old little home. I love everything that is modern farmhouse, shiplap, neutrals, with lots of natural light! So if you follow me on social media you probably will see tid-bits of our projects.
